Čmelák is an ecological organization that has for more than 25 years been bringing life in all its diversity, richness and beauty back where it had disappeared due to human activity. We assume that words alone will not save the planet. New ponds, planted trees, changed forests, new places for nature - these are the main results of our work.

Selling gift certificates, gift packages and other things is one of the ways to secure the necessary money for our activities. Despite many declarations of politicians or skeptics, the activities we do are grossly underfinanced.

 

Our specialization is the transformation of devastated sites into harmonious places full of life for people and for nature. We have turned a neglected site with an illegal dump into  a wetland paradise with new ponds and pools, where there are many species of protected plants and animals today. On the Ještěd ridge, we have been turning spruce monocultures into mixed forests, which will once become primeval forests again. We have already planted over 500,000 seedlings of trees and shrubs in the landscape with the help of several thousand volunteers.

We strive to put into practice what others are just talking about. Already for 25 years, step by step. We will be happy if you support our activities by purchasing any of the items from our shop.
